Sourcing, Imports & Exports

Vertically integrated agribusiness from the heart of Marathwada — orchard to export, soil to shelf.

Agriculture, reimagined from Osmanabad

The AppuPancham Group is a vertically integrated agribusiness operating from Dharashiv (Osmanabad), Maharashtra. Built across six interconnected entities, the group spans the full agricultural value chain — from ultra-high-density precision orchards and biological input manufacturing to nursery propagation, mango research, farmer producer organization activation, and international trade.

Every system is designed for generational transfer — built to operate without any single individual as connective tissue, engineered for inheritance by the next generation.

Two arms, one vision

AP Agritech

Agriculture Technology Platforms, Agri Inputs & Advisory

The domestic engine of the AP Group — manufacturing biological inputs, developing precision agriculture technology, and providing science-backed advisory services to farmers across Marathwada.

  • AP Astra — 18-product biological inputs line
  • Precision agriculture technology platforms
  • Fabrication and equipment services
  • Farm advisory and protocol design
  • Yantra delivery systems (Mk.I / Mk.II)

AP Agri International

Sourcing, Imports & Exports

The outward-facing arm — connecting Marathwada produce to international markets, sourcing global inputs for domestic agriculture, and building the export infrastructure for premium Indian mangoes.

  • Kesar and Ratna mango export
  • APEDA-aligned export documentation
  • International sourcing of agri inputs
  • Quality assurance and grading
  • Post-harvest chain development

Backward integration to forward linkages — the complete arc

Most agribusinesses operate in fragments — a farmer here, a trader there, an exporter somewhere else. The AP Group exists because we built the full chain: from the farming community that grows the fruit, through the science and inputs that nurture it, to the handling, processing, and export infrastructure that delivers it to the world.

Backward Integration

ODFFPCL activates the farming community as organized supply partners — not just vendors, but co-invested stakeholders. Input supply, technical advisory, credit access, and collective infrastructure flow backward to the farmer, securing consistent quality at source.

Forward Linkages

Fresh fruit handling, grading, cold chain management, and processing infrastructure extend the chain forward from farm gate to final buyer. This is where value is captured — where a Rs. 40/kg mango becomes a Rs. 200/kg export-grade product.

Why this architecture matters

In Indian horticulture, post-harvest losses run between 25–40%. The gap is not in production — India is the world's largest mango producer — but in the chain between harvest and consumption. By owning both the backward integration (farmer relationships, input supply, production protocols) and the forward linkages (handling, processing, cold chain, export), AP Group eliminates the fragmentation that destroys value at every handoff. The farmer gets a better price because the chain is shorter. The buyer gets consistent quality because the same group controls every step. And the region — Marathwada, historically one of Maharashtra's most drought-vulnerable belts — gets an institutional structure that converts agricultural potential into economic reality.

Namdeobapu Mane Mango Research Centre

NMMRC Shingoli is the scientific backbone of the AP Group — dedicated to preserving mango genetic diversity across Marathwada and developing rootstock-scion combinations optimized for the region's conditions.

Pillar I — Rootstock-Scion Identity

Screening "timid" rootstocks paired with Kesar and Ratna scions. Volatile, sugar, acid, carotenoid, and sensory profiling against origin benchmarks to preserve and enhance the authentic taste signature.

Pillar II — Marathwada Mango Gene Bank

A living field collection spanning all eight GI districts of Marathwada. District survey planned for 2026, field planting from 2027 onward. Preserving the genetic heritage of the region's mango biodiversity.

From soil science to market

🌱

AP Astra Biologicals

An 18-product line of biological inputs across three tiers, delivered through the Ritu Chakra seasonal subscription model. Every application passes through a five-gate decision filter before reaching the field.

🌳

Girijaa Golden Farms

Nursery and tissue culture operations producing authenticated Kesar and Ratna mango grafts. Reputation-first sourcing of planting material, with tissue culture capabilities at the Agritech Complex.

Technology & Fabrication

In-house fabrication of agricultural equipment, stainless steel tissue culture setups, and the AP Agritrek platform — a crop-agnostic decision support system built for Indian farming conditions.

Two institutional vehicles, one farming community

The AP Group's backward integration rests on two farmer-facing institutions — each serving a distinct crop community while sharing the same philosophy: organize growers into a collective structure that commands better inputs, better protocols, and better prices than any individual farmer can achieve alone.

ODFFPCL

Osmanabad District Fruits & Flowers Producer Company Ltd.

The Farmer Producer Organization activating in June 2026 — organizing smallholder fruit growers across Dharashiv into a single institutional body. AP Astra biologicals reach the farmer at cost through the FPO. Orchard protocols developed on the 25-acre demonstration farm transfer as ready-to-execute SOPs. And when the harvest arrives, the forward chain is already waiting.

  • Collective bargaining for inputs and market access
  • Shared post-harvest and cold chain infrastructure
  • Technical advisory and protocol transfer
  • Clean institutional vehicle for government grants

Prithvijeet GGCSL

Prithvijeet Grape Growers' Co-Operative Society Ltd.

The cooperative society serving the grape growing community — a parallel institutional arm that extends the group's backward integration model to viticulture. Prithvijeet provides the same structural advantages to grape growers that ODFFPCL delivers to fruit and flower producers.

  • Grape grower collective organization
  • Cooperative infrastructure and shared services
  • Market linkage for table grapes and raisins
  • Land assets under strategic development
The farmer is not a supplier. The farmer is where the chain begins. Everything we build flows backward to strengthen that starting point, and forward to capture the value that rightfully belongs to the grower.
